Standards, on-call duty and rest checked while you schedule, not at an inspection. fromStart
- Medical on-call duty and standby are separate shift types. On-call duty counts as working time and toward the weekly limit, and rest is counted from its end. Standby counts as working time only when someone is called in.
- Polish healthcare standards from the Act on Medical Activity are built in: 7 hours 35 minutes a day and 11 hours of rest after on-call duty. Plus on-call duty of up to 24 hours and an average 48-hour weekly limit, exceeded only with the employee's written consent.
- The equivalent working time system in healthcare (longer shifts balanced by shorter days over the same reference period, the span over which hours are settled) is one of the working time systems. Labour Code rules with your own thresholds work alongside it.
- You set out ward shifts in the schedule, even unassigned ones, and see gaps for the month before the team does. A minimum ward staffing level with an hour-by-hour gap report is from Premium.
- For the organisation you choose whether a breach gives a warning or blocks saving the schedule. With a block, only an administrator or HR can knowingly save a single shift, and Proplanum logs it.
Built-in standards are the minimum in this category, not an advantage. The advantage starts in the next two sections.
